1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use GymDex or PDF Pocket Tools. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the publisher of the Apps. This policy applies to both Apps unless a section expressly identifies only one of them.
GymDex is a workout timer and creature-progress app. PDF Pocket Tools is an on-device PDF utility that can scan documents, create PDFs from images, merge, compress, reorder, rotate, delete PDF pages, and add signatures. Some versions of either App may include advertising SDKs or ad-network integrations. If your installed version does not show ads, the advertising sections of this policy apply only when advertising is enabled in that version or a later version.
2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The Apps are designed to work without an account. Their core data is stored locally on your device so the Apps can provide their features.
GymDex
GymDex may store workout type, duration, date, history, creature unlock stage, creature progress, and basic app settings locally. This information is used to display your history, calculate progress, and support the app experience.
PDF Pocket Tools
PDF Pocket Tools may access the PDFs, images, scans, and signature images that you choose to open, import, share, create, or edit. It may also store document-related metadata locally, such as file name, type, size, page count, import source, creation or modification date, recent-opened time, tool-job history, signature references, and app settings. This information is used to provide the requested document feature and organize your local document list.
We do not operate servers that receive the core workout records, documents, scans, images, or signatures handled by the Apps’ current core features. PDF Pocket Tools processes its PDF editing operations on your device. Documents you export or share are sent only to the destination or app you select; that recipient’s privacy policy then applies.
3. Document Scanning
PDF Pocket Tools uses the Google Play services document-scanner component for its scan feature. The scanner’s document capture and processing flow operates on-device, and you control which resulting files are returned to PDF Pocket Tools. PDF Pocket Tools does not request its own camera permission for this flow.
Google Play services may independently handle limited device and app information for service delivery, diagnostics, and usage analytics under Google’s policies. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and the ML Kit document-scanner documentation.
4. Advertising Data
Either App may show advertisements through third-party advertising partners, such as Google Mobile Ads (including AdMob), mediation providers, or other ad networks. When advertising is enabled, those partners may collect, receive, or process data from your device to provide ads, limit repeated ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal requirements.
Depending on the advertising partner and your device settings, advertising-related data may include:
- Device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID, app set ID, and other identifiers where available.
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location, plus device type, operating system, app version, language, and region.
- User product and ad interactions, such as app launches, taps, ad views, clicks, video views, impressions, and approximate ad-performance events.
- Diagnostic information, such as app or SDK performance, crash logs, launch time, hangs, energy use, and fraud-prevention signals.
Advertising partners process this information under their own privacy policies. Google’s Mobile Ads documentation describes the data that its current Android SDK collects automatically; actual data practices may also depend on the advertising partners and settings used in a particular App version. 6. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To provide workout timer features and save completed sessions locally.
- To display workout history and calculate creature progress.
- To create, scan, convert, edit, organize, and export documents you select in PDF Pocket Tools.
- To remember basic app settings and local app history on your device.
- To display ads and support a free app experience when ads are enabled.
- To measure ad performance, limit abuse, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations where applicable.
7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information for money. The core workout records, documents, scans, images, and signatures described above are not uploaded to our servers by the Apps’ current core features.
When ads are enabled, advertising partners may receive or process advertising-related data directly from your device through their SDKs or services. This may be considered data collection or sharing under Google Play policies and applicable privacy laws; in certain jurisdictions it may also be considered “sharing” for targeted-advertising purposes. The relevant data categories and purposes are described above.
8. Advertising Choices and Consent
Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice and obtain any required consent before using advertising-related data for the applicable purposes. Your device may also provide controls for advertising personalization, advertising identifiers, or privacy settings. On Android, you may be able to reset or delete your advertising ID, limit ad personalization, or adjust privacy controls in your device settings. Available controls depend on your Android version, Google Play services, region, and device manufacturer.

9. Data Retention and Deletion
Information stored locally by an App remains on your device until you delete the relevant items, clear that App’s storage, or uninstall the App. Imported documents stored by another app or provider may remain with that provider. Documents you have exported or shared are subject to the storage and deletion controls of the destination you selected.
Advertising partners may retain advertising-related data according to their own retention policies. Please review the privacy policies of the relevant advertising partners for more details.
10. Data Security
The Apps are designed to keep their core data on your device. When Google Play services or third-party advertising services process data, they are expected to use reasonable security measures, such as secure transmission where applicable. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
The Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
12. International Users
The Apps are intended for users in multiple regions. Google Play services and advertising partners may process the limited data described in this policy in countries other than yours, according to their own privacy policies and applicable law.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the effective date above. If we add features that materially change how either App handles data, we will update this policy as appropriate.
