GymDex helps users track workout time across categories such as strength training, yoga, HIIT, stretching, running, cycling, and other activities. Completed workout time can contribute to creature progress in the app.
GymDex is designed as a free, ad-supported product. Some app versions may include advertising SDKs or ad network integrations. If a specific installed version does not show ads, the advertising sections of this policy apply when advertising is enabled in that version or a later version.
2. Information Stored Locally
GymDex stores workout and app progress data locally on your device so the app can function without an account. This local data may include workout type, workout duration, workout date, workout history, creature unlock stage, creature progress, and basic app settings.
Local workout records and creature progress are used to display your history, calculate unlock progress, and support the app experience. This local workout data is not uploaded to GymDex servers by the core app features.
3. Advertising Data
GymDex may show advertisements through third-party advertising partners, such as Google AdMob or other ad networks. These partners may collect, receive, or process data from your device to provide ads, limit repeated ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal requirements.
Depending on the advertising partner and your device settings, advertising-related data may include:
- Device or other identifiers, including advertising identifiers where available.
- IP address, coarse location inferred from IP address, device type, operating system, app version, language, and region.
- Ad interactions, such as ad views, clicks, impressions, and approximate ad performance events.

GymDex does not sell your personal information. Local workout records and creature progress are not uploaded to GymDex servers by the core app features.

7. Advertising Choices
Your device may provide controls for advertising personalization, advertising identifiers, or privacy settings. On Android, you may be able to reset or delete your advertising ID, limit ad personalization, or adjust privacy controls in your device settings. Available controls depend on your Android version, Google Play services, region, and device manufacturer.

8. Data Retention and Deletion
Workout records and creature progress stored locally on your device remain there until you delete them, clear app storage, or uninstall GymDex. If you uninstall the app or clear app storage through your device settings, locally stored workout records and creature progress may be deleted.
Advertising partners may retain advertising-related data according to their own retention policies. Please review the privacy policies of the relevant advertising partners for more details.
9. Data Security
GymDex is designed to keep core workout records on your device. When third-party advertising services process data, they are expected to use reasonable security measures such as secure transmission where applicable. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
GymDex is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. International Users
GymDex is intended for users in multiple regions. Advertising partners may process advertising-related data in different countries according to their own privacy policies and applicable law.
